"The oboist Michał Rogalski's supple sound described the scene; lamenting and dancing over ghostly harmonics and urgent solos for violin, cello, viola, sceptical yet sympathetic."
"The piece (…) was played with care and exquisite sensitivity to its dark, swirling textures by the ensemble and their soloist, Michał Rogalski."
"Rogalski's easy tone and the honeyed light and shade of the inner strings combined elegantly."
"The result is a highly appealing and dramatic work (…) which showed off not only Rogalski's fine bravura technique, but also his sense of line and wonderfully mellow sound."
A world of classical music
"Michał floated and wound his way delightfully through the Francais Hologe des Fleurs… Sweet, light, playful, warm."
"The performance from Rogalski (...) was exemplary"
A world of classical music
"Rogalski, a talented young Polish oboist has a diffident stage manner that was no foil for the deep emotions expressed (and evidently felt) in his playing."
Michał Rogalski moved to London in 2012, having regularly appeared as a principal oboist and solo cor anglais player with the Minnesota Opera and as a regular deputy of the Minnesota Orchestra. He is a former oboist of the Winston-Salem Symphony Orchestra and the Piedmont Opera.
